Friday Favorites - baby edition

So, I am about to enter my 6 month of pregnancy.  Crazy, right?!  I can hardly believe it either.  My husband and I just moved back to Chicago from London and we are currently condo searching.  I like to have a chaotic life.  I like to think I work better under pressure.

Anyways, we have been doing some shopping and I have bought some of things below and others I am saving for my registry but these are my baby favorites right now.  The big ticket item we are actually going to buy this weekend is the stroller.  Living in the city I wanted to invest in a nice stroller.

BTW the snoogle is amazing.  I was having issues sleeping and this has been a life saver.

Next week I will share my nursery inspiration board.  We've finally agreed on bedding last night and made the purchase.  I was not prepared for how picky Matt was going to be with this little guy.

Happy Friday

  1. The Dwell Fox blanket is amazing. It is warm, light, awesome styling (especially for London babies :-p) and C. loves it.

  2. It's probably too late, but I would totally push for a City Mini Versa over the Bugaboo: it's easier to transport, easier to collapse, and it's lighter. You can get the bassinet for it too, if that's what you're going for. Light and easily collapsable were musts for the city, esp. with a walk-up of any sort. I don't know if it's your thing, but I'd also recommend a baby carrier of some sort (we loved our Bjorn, but an Ergo is also good - one that's not too "crunchy" is probably a good idea!) - when C. was tiny, it was by far the easiest way to cart him up and down station stairways. I know you're having fun outfitting the baby necessities. I'm jealous! :-)

  3. Congrats! I had the boon drying "grass" with my first baby, and while it looks super cute, I didn't use it for my second. You can only fit so much on there and I found a different drying rack at Walmart. I think you can get branches to put in there so that may help! And if you haven't put aden + anais blankets and burp cloths on your registry you should conisder it! Good luck!!
