Wednesday Wants

It's that time again...my weekly wish list.

My list is a little fall because it's cold and yes still freaking raining here.

Please stop raining - that is all I ask London. I'll take clouds and wind but no rain...please!

Sunday I went shopping to find a navy blue dress for a wedding I am in next month. The bride is being super easy going about the dresses. We just need a blue dress she doesn't care length, straps, shoes etc.

This should be easy, right?!

Well, I was in one of those I really don't want to shop or try anything on moods. This is a very rare occasion but it can happen. On top of that I was really dreading the crowds, people are everywhere right now. I had to give myself a pep talk to get out the door. It's not really a pep talk more of a bribe - I can make a stop at the American candy store..ha! With Reese's Peanut Buttercups on the brain I finally made my way through the masses to Oxford Street. As I was walking I started to notice bright red signs with the words SALE on them. They distracted me and I totally forgot what I was shopping for. Three hours later I was happy with my amazing purchases and melted chocolate on my face. I didn't realize till I got home that I forgot to get a dress.

There is always next weekend right?

My favorite purchase of the day (not on sale) was this All Saints Belvedere Leather Jacket.

Father's Day Gift Ideas

This is the first father's day in a long time I actually get to spend it with my dad. I am heading to Nebraska this Thursday for two weeks. Sunday will be spent with my family tailgating and watching baseball. I can't wait.

Monday Fashion

I need a little inspiration with fashion. The weather in London is anything but great and is not my favorite topic, especially when all my friends back home are tan and wearing shorts. The highs right now are in the mid to high 50's and usually cloudy with rain. This weekend it was 60 and actually sunny and you know what that means if you have ever visited or lived here - girls dress like its 90. Shorts, tanks tops, flip flops, summer dresses etc - you see it all. I understand a Maxi with a jacket or blazer but these girls are rockin' it without a jacket, flip flops and acting warm when you know they are freezing. I, however, do not dress for the weather I want but for the weather we have. So this post is to give me some inspiration on how to dress for London's summer without looking too fall.

It's a Druzy

The Druzy quartz stone has become popular over the last few years because of its beauty. Druzy quartz is a thin layer of quartz crystallizing over the surface of a stone. It is not only beautiful but has also been said to help aid in balancing and increasing energy. This gem has won me over and I found a few pieces I wouldn't mind adding to my jewelry collection. I'm smitten with the first ring and bracelet.
