story of my life
Sorry I was MIA for the past two days. I have been busy with a huge to do list or as I like to call it...
My shit is done and I am enjoying a huge glass bottle of wine.
Have a great weekend!

Insta-Recap
Weekend at home with nothing on the agenda - perfect. Friday I met Matt for Happy Hour after work. We were a little too happy and I woke up the next morning with a headache. The hangover food of choice - Donuts..ha! After the headache went away, I went shopping and picked up some cute, cheap baubles at H&M and Forever21. Of course I went to Zara and put a little dent in the wallet. Matt had a day/night with the boys on Saturday at the Heineken Cup Final. So I bought myself some wine, watched Sex and City, did my nails and caught up on celebrity gossip. Sunday we spent the day at home making breakfast, skyping with family and strolling through the neighborhood. It was a nice little weekend at home.

Brighton
Hope you had a wonderful Easter. We had a nice 4 day weekend, on Friday we went to Brighton. It was a little chillier than I would like but it was still a great day. We went to the Pier and Matt wanted to ride a few of the rides but I have a fear of carnival rides. I will only go on rides if it's at an amusement park- the whole moving rides from location to location thing freaks me out and I don't trust them. So we ended getting cotton candy instead :) I was happy until I noticed it looked like my hair?! I was embracing my inner Marge Simpson! HA

Weekend Recap
This weekend was the start of one of my New Years resolutions, to try new things. Friday we were boring and stayed home trying to get back on London time. It still hasn't worked... Saturday we went shopping and tried out a new pub we have been wanting to check out forever. It was fun and nice to just be with Matt. After our Christmas Holiday we needed a date night. Sunday we rented a car and I drove in London for the first time. Driving on the left is scary enough but throw a manual my way and it is even scarier. My right hand wanted to shift, I have big red buses swerving in my direction, random people crossing the streets, and bikes everywhere. I felt like I was in MarioKart just dodging buses instead of turtle shells. I am suppose to get my company car this week or next. Hopefully my little practice yesterday has me ready...lol! We ended the weekend at the movies- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I saw the original one a month or two ago, both are pretty good. I had a few issues with the new one, they changed the storyline and people either had Swedish or British accents. The story took place in Stockholm-they should have Swedish accents. Anyways it was still a good movie but the book was better.
Happy Monday!

Weekend Getaway
We are headed to the Lake District this weekend. I am excited to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors. Saturday it's suppose to be rainy but my fingers are crossed it stays away. I will post pictures when we get back. Do you have any exciting plans?
Enjoy your weekend :)

Parks and Recreational Drinking
Sunday we spent the day exploring our neighborhood. We found a new pub a block away with a huge beer garden. Not sure how we are just discovering this, I thought we knew every pub within a block radius of our place. After the pub we went to the park to relax with some cider and leave it to me to play on the playground.
Warning picture overload :)
